USA survives Sweden in OT to advance to Olympic semifinals
The United States defeated Sweden 2-1 in the quarterfinals of the men's Olympic hockey tournament Wednesday thanks to an overtime winner from Quinn Hughes.
The Minnesota Wild defenseman ripped a shot off the post and in, punching USA's ticket to the semis.
The U.S. will play Slovakia in Friday's semifinals, while Canada will face Finland.

Dylan Larkin broke the ice in the second period, tipping home his first goal of the Olympics off a Jack Hughes point shot.
Mika Zibanejad sent the game to OT with a one-time blast off a feed from Lucas Raymond while the Swedish net was empty with 1:31 left in regulation.
Connor Hellebuyck was stellar between the American pipes with 28 saves.
The United States is seeking its first men's Olympic hockey gold medal since 1980.
