Porter Martone is going pro.
The Philadelphia Flyers signed the 2025 No. 6 pick to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Sunday. He'll join the club for the remainder of the campaign.
In his lone season at Michigan State, Martone ranked tied for second in the NCAA in goals (25) and sixth in points (50). The Spartans were eliminated in the Frozen Four quarterfinals by Wisconsin on Saturday.
A 6-foot-3, 210-pound power forward, Martone racked up 98 points in 57 games for the Brampton Steelheads in 2024-25. He also tallied six goals and three assists in seven games for Canada at the 2026 World Junior Championship, where he wore the "C."
The Flyers are three points out of a playoff spot entering Sunday.
