Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson will miss Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday, head coach John Tortorella confirmed, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

Karlsson exited Game 5 after taking a hit from Sean Walker in the second period. He was helped off the ice after a trainer examined his left arm. He left the arena for further evaluation and did not return for the remainder of the game.

Tortorella did not have an immediate update on Karlsson's condition after the Golden Knights' 4-2 loss on Thursday, but said "he's not going to be with us, probably."

The upper-body injury is the latest ailment for the 33-year-old center this season. Karlsson missed 68 games during the regular season due to a lower-body ailment prior to returning to the Golden Knights' lineup for their second-round series against the Anaheim Ducks.

Karlsson has provided an impact in his return, especially as a penalty killer. He's scored nine points during his current playoff run and has tallied four points in the Stanley Cup Final.

The Golden Knights are expected to shuffle their lines in Karlsson's absence. Brett Howden or Mitch Marner could be tapped to fill his role at center in the must-win scenario Sunday.
