Florida Panthers forward Brady Tkachuk said he'll donate any jerseys thrown onto the ice during his return game Wednesday against the Ottawa Senators to Ottawa's Boys and Girls Club.

"If you're gonna do it and send a message, then just know it's going to a good cause," Tkachuk said on his "Wingmen" podcast Tuesday. "I received your message, and it's going to a good cause."

Brady's older brother Matthew Tkachuk, who also plays for the Panthers, interjected: "I want 10,000 on the ice. Hell yeah."

The Senators drafted Brady fourth overall in 2018. He played eight seasons in Ottawa, spending five as captain. He requested a trade and was dealt to Florida in June with two years left on his contract.

Tkachuk said in April that he had been "fully committed" to the Senators and the city of Ottawa.

The 27-year-old was named the NHL's First Star of the Week on Monday after recording back-to-back hat tricks and nine points in three games last week.

Florida and Ottawa are tied with 12 points in nine games.
