Sidney Crosby can cross the Chicago Blackhawks off his goal-scoring bucket list.
The Pittsburgh Penguins captain scored his first career goal against Chicago in the third period of Sunday's game, electing to shoot on an odd-man rush and roofing the puck over Blackhawks goaltender Corey Crawford's glove arm.
The goal was Crosby's 35th of the season. He added an empty-net tally - his first since Nov. 27, 2010 - to extend his league-leading points total to 99.
Crosby entered the game with two assists in three previous contests against Chicago. The only remaining teams Crosby has not scored against are the San Jose Sharks (four assists in six games) and the St. Louis Blues (four assists in eight games).
