Kings force Game 7 with 3rd straight win over Sharks
The Los Angeles Kings escaped elimination for the third time Monday night as they battled back from a 3-0 series deficit and forced Game 7 with a dominant third period - after a controversial goal - in Game 6.
The Sharks were unable to convert on four power play chances, including a 5-on-3, in Game 6, and had only six shots in the third period. A 1-1 tie in the third was broken at 11:56 after a controversial goal by Justin Williams, and the Kings would add two more goals in less than three minutes to seal the deal, winning 4-1.
Game 7 will be played Wednesday in San Jose.
