Report: Canadiens, Markov to start contract talks in the next few days
The Montreal Canadiens haven't forgotten about pending free-agent defenseman Andrei Markov. After failing to get anything done before the trade deadline in March, Markov and the Canadiens will reportedly resume contract talks soon.

Markov played through his last season of a three-year, $17.25-million contract appearing in 81 games with 43 points.
