The Carolina Hurricanes are once again without Jordan Staal, who is absent from Wednesday's lineup versus the Pittsburgh Penguins for unspecified reasons.
Staal collected an assist in his season debut Monday after missing the first 35 games with a broken leg suffered the preseason.
He was not made available to the media following Wednesday's morning skate in order to receive treatment.
