Report: Ducks place Bryzgalov on waivers

The Anaheim Ducks are reportedly looking to part with goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov.
Bryzgalov was placed on waivers Sunday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
The veteran is 1-4-1 with a save percentage of .847 and a goals-against average of 4.19 in eight games with the Ducks.
He was signed by Anaheim on a professional tryout contract in December, then inked to a one-year deal.
The move could be an indication that starter Frederik Andersen is nearing a return from his injury.
