Jets' Wheeler set to miss at least 1 game with lower-body injury

Forward Blake Wheeler will be unavailable for Tuesday's game against the Dallas Stars due to injury, Jets head coach Paul Maurice has announced. The issue is believed to be a lower-body injury, as reported by Sara Orlesky of TSN.

The Jets remain in a wild-card spot, but have been beset by injuries in recent days. As such, they can ill afford to be without Wheeler, who has recorded 16 goals, 28 assists and a team leading plus-173 in shot attempts.
