Hagelin scores OT winner as Rangers eliminate Penguins
Carl Hagelin scored the game-winner in overtime as the New York Rangers advanced to the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 5 on Friday night.
The Rangers won the series 4-1, earning all four wins by a 2-1 margin.
Star Performer: Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist stopped 37 of 38 shots, including five saves in the extra frame.
Turning Point: Hagelin's goal came midway through the overtime period, as he slipped a wrist shot past Penguins netminder Marc-Andre Fleury.
