Carcillo (concussion) has medical clearance to play for the Blackhawks during their second-round series with the Wild, Mark Lazerus of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Analysis:

Carcillo's best skill is his ability to fight, and with the enforcer role typically diminished during the playoffs, coach Joel Quenneville probably doesn't have much reason to use the winger. Even though he's healthy, Carcillo might not get a chance to play until Quenneville becomes displeased with the performance of one of the Blackhawks' current crew of bottom-six forwards.
