The designs were modeled by Canadiens players Brendan Gallagher, Max Pacioretty, and P.K. Subban on Friday:
"The chest stripe is a shade of blue inspired by the first-ever Canadiens jersey worn after their founding in 1909," the club wrote in a release.
They'll wear the jerseys for the New Year's Day clash with the Bruins at Gillette Stadium, home of the NFL's New England Patriots.
The Bruins unveiled their 2016 Winter Classic sweaters last month.
