VIDEO: Kesler neatly discards stick, gloves before attempting to fight Toews

A true hero-versus-villain brouhaha nearly came to fruition Friday afternoon when Jonathan Toews and Ryan Kesler agreed to exchange blows.

But then someone's manners got in the way.

Watch the menacing - and suddenly upstanding - Kesler neatly place his stick and gloves on the ice before attempting to engage a willing Toews.

It would have been Toews' third fight this season - which would have doubled his career total. What's gotten in to him?
