The Boston Bruins assigned forward David Pastrnak to the AHL's Providence Bruins on Monday.
The move came as Pastrnak returned home from the World Junior Hockey Championship in Finland. He had one goal and three assists in four games for the Czech Republic.
Pastrnak has missed most of this season due to a foot injury.
The 19-year-old has two goals and two assists in 10 NHL games this season, along with one assist in a pair of AHL games.
