As the players make the turn to the back-9 at Quail Hollow in Sunday's final round of the PGA Championship, Justin Thomas is doing his best to make a run at the lead.
The long-hitting American showed off his short-game prowess with a 36-foot bomb for birdie on the ninth to make the turn at 6-under and sit one shot off Hideki Matsuyama's lead.
