Golf Channel to air 2 NHL playoff games

Golf Channel - yes, Golf Channel - will air two NHL playoff games this spring.
NBC Sports has the broadcasting rights to the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the U.S., and it's decided to play two games on the sister channel.
On April 18, Golf Channel will air Game 4 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils at 7:30 p.m. ET and Game 4 between the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks at 10:30 p.m. ET.
It isn't uncommon for hockey and golf to cross paths, as many hockey players take up golf as an offseason sport. Still, this is a new one.
