Bud Cauley is thankful he didn't suffer a worse fate after a single-car accident from which he sustained multiple significant injuries Friday night in Dublin, Ohio.
Cauley issued a statement Monday on Instagram following the crash that left him with a collapsed lung, five broken ribs, and a fractured left leg.
Cauley was one of four people in the vehicle at the time of the accident, as was former NHL defenseman James Wisniewski, who suffered a pair of broken ribs.
