Bryson displays beefed up physique in 1st start post-quarantine
Toward the end of last season, Bryson DeChambeau vowed he was going to hit the gym and add size to his frame in the hopes of chasing distance off the tee.
While the early results indicated he was on his way to doing just that, the 26-year-old appears to have taken it to a new level during the PGA Tour shutdown.
DeChambeau displayed his beefed up physique that looks more like a powerlifter than a golfer in the first round of the Tour's return on Thursday at Colonial.
The plan definitely seems to be working, as DeChambeau has been bombing the ball off the tee to begin play, hitting drives of 354, 337, 333, and 322 yards on his opening nine.
DeChambeau documented how he spent his time off with a lengthy video that was released roughly around the same time he was hitting his first tee shot at Colonial.
