It wouldn't be a PGA Tour round if Bryson DeChambeau wasn't creating a memorable moment, and the opening day of the PGA Championship was no exception.
The beefy long-hitting American, who has produced multiple viral incidents during interactions with a cameraman, rules officials, and fire ants over the past few weeks, accidentally snapped his driver shaft in two following a tee shot on the 347-yard par-4 7th at TPC Harding Park on Thursday.
Golf Twitter was quick to react with glee, though DeChambeau was able to save his par.
DeChambeau, who seemed absolutely elated by the event, was able to get a replacement shaft brought to him from the equipment truck while on the eighth hole.
