Nobody in the golfing world would accuse Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau of being close friends, but their rivalry might have reached new levels this past weekend at the PGA Championship.
DeChambeau walked behind Koepka while Golf Channel's Todd Lewis was interviewing the latter Friday night at the Ocean Course at Kiawah Island - much to the disdain of the four-time major champion.
Koepka was visibly perturbed by the click-clack of DeChambeau's spikes on the concrete and confessed to losing his train of thought due to "that bullshit." Lewis shared a laugh with Koepka, who remarked that he wouldn't care if Golf Channel aired the clip. The exchange didn't make air, but it was shared Monday night on Twitter by someone who had access to the footage.
It was the latest salvo in golf's best rivalry - and one that leaves every golf fan hoping the USGA will put these two in the same group at the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines in June.
