Rory, Xander to chase Fowler from 2nd-last group for Round 3

Rory McIlroy and Xander Schauffele will attempt to chase down leader Rickie Fowler from the penultimate pairing Saturday at the U.S. Open.

The star-studded duo will go off at 3:29 p.m. local time - 6:29 p.m. ET - just ahead of Fowler and Wyndham Clark in the final group at Los Angeles Country Club.

The three-hour time change between Los Angeles and the East Coast gives viewers in that region the opportunity to watch prime-time golf Saturday night from the iconic venue.
