Atlanta Drive GC completed the comeback against New York Golf Club for a 4-3 victory Tuesday to claim the SoFi Cup as the inaugural TGL champions.

The victors entered the singles component down 2-0, but Billy Horschel gave them the one-point lead with a clutch putt from 18 feet on the second-last hole. It was worth two points after New York accepted Atlanta's hammer throw.

"I hit the spot, it looked good," Horschel said after making the shot. "Two feet out, I knew it was in the hole. I blacked out. I think I said some expletives, I think I said something about this being my house. It was a lot of fun. I'm loving this, man, this is awesome."

Atlanta was 0-for-6 putting from 10-to-20 feet Tuesday before Horschel's stunner.

The club - which also features Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay - won the first final match 6-5 on Monday after New York's Xander Schauffele missed a 6-foot, 5-inch putt on the final hole.

Tuesday's match was scoreless through the opening six holes, and both teams were a combined 0-for-7 on birdie putts over that span. New York broke the deadlock after a fantastic first shot by Schauffele set up a 5-foot putt on No. 7.

The squad held a 3-0 edge after the first 11 holes, but Atlanta got on the board after New York forfeited the next two holes by declining back-to-back hammer throws to set the table for Horschel's heroic putt.

Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young's New York team punched its ticket to the final after upsetting the top-seeded Los Angeles Golf Club last week. Atlanta, meanwhile, advanced after dominating No. 2 seed The Bay Golf Club.

Atlanta won $9 million for its big victory, while New York received $4.5 million.
