Koepka, DJ, Phil among notables to miss cut at Augusta
The LIV Golf contingent has been thinned out at the Masters, with a host of big names from the league headlining the notables to miss the cut at Augusta National.
Brooks Koepka, Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Sergio Garcia, and Cam Smith all fell outside the 2-over number to play the weekend, with Koepka in particular crashing out in dramatic fashion.
The five-time major champion came to the 18th hole well inside the number but carded a stunning quadruple-bogey 8 to finish at 5-over for the championship. It's the first time Koepka won't make the cut in a major since the 2022 Open Championship
Mickelson looked set to make his eighth straight cut at the Masters, but the 54-year-old crumbled with a double and two bogeys on his final four holes to miss by three strokes.
The LIV members aren't the only past champions heading home, as 2013 winner Adam Scott struggled mightily this week with rounds of 77 and 72.
