Frost's Jaques activated from LTIR after missing 5 games
The Minnesota Frost activated defender Sophie Jaques from long-term injured reserve, the team announced Sunday.
Jaques hasn't suited up since sustaining an upper-body injury Dec. 19 against the Ottawa Charge in an awkward collision with forward Mannon McMahon.

The Frost went 3-2-0 in five games without Jaques. All three wins came in overtime or the shootout.
Jaques has three assists and 17 shots in four games this season while playing 21:57 per game.
The Frost acquired Jaques from the Boston Fleet for forward Susanna Tapani and defender Abby Cook last year in the PWHL's first trade. Jaques led all Minnesota defenders with 10 points last season despite playing the first seven games of the campaign with Boston.
Minnesota faces the Montreal Victoire at the Colorado Avalanche's Ball Arena in Denver as part of the PWHL's Takeover Tour on Sunday.
