Poulin passes Wickenheiser for Canadian points record at Worlds
Marie-Philip Poulin passed Hayley Wickenheiser to become Canada's all-time top scorer at the Women's World Championship on Saturday.
Poulin recorded her 87th career point with a goal in Canada's semifinal clash versus Finland to usurp the Hockey Hall of Famer atop the list.

Poulin accomplished the feat in her 71st game at the Worlds after debuting in 2009. Wickenheiser tallied her 37 goals and 86 points in 61 games from 1994 to 2016.
Earlier in the tournament, Poulin passed Wickenheiser for second on Canada's list of all-time top scorers at the Worlds with her 38th career goal.
The Montreal Victoire superstar now has 10 points at this year's Worlds and a point in every contest so far.
The 34-year-old is a four-time champion at the Worlds and has been named to the tournament all-star team three times. Most notably, Poulin netted the overtime winner at the 2021 Worlds to snap Canada's eight-year gold-medal drought at the event.
Poulin's most iconic moments have come at the Olympics, where she's a three-time champion. She scored the game-winning goal in all three gold-medal triumphs.
American star and long-time rival Hilary Knight is the overall leader in goals, assists, and points at the Women's Worlds. The 35-year-old has 67 goals and 119 points in 86 career games.
