The Milwaukee Bucks and Thanasis Antetokounmpo, Giannis Antetokounmpo's older brother, have agreed to a two-year deal, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania on Sunday.

The contract will pay him a guaranteed $3 million over the next two seasons, Charania adds.

Thanasis, 26, spent the last three seasons in Europe, playing for MoraBanc Andorra in the Spanish basketball league before two campaigns with Panathinaikos in his native Greece. Over 19 games this past season, Antetokounmpo averaged 5.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per contest.

He's also logged previous NBA experience. He played two games for the New York Knicks during the 2015-16 season, but Thanasis only accrued six minutes of playing time. New York drafted him in the second round (51st overall) in 2014.

There's also a third Antetokounmpo sibling in the league. The Philadelphia 76ers drafted Kostas Antetokounmpo 60th overall in 2018, though they traded his rights to the Dallas Mavericks. He played just 11 minutes across two games during his rookie season.
