When Max Fried takes the hill for the Atlanta Braves in Game 6 of the World Series on Tuesday, he'll have the support of some distinguished high school teammates.

St. Louis Cardinals ace Jack Flaherty and Chicago White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito will be in attendance at Minute Maid Park to cheer on Fried as the Braves attempt to defeat the Houston Astros and claim their first World Series title since 1995, according to ESPN's Alden Gonzalez.

"I'm definitely a little jealous," Giolito said of watching Fried pitch in the Fall Classic. "But at the same time, I'm super pumped."

Fried, Giolito, and Flaherty were teammates at Harvard-Westlake High School in Los Angeles. They were coached by Matt LaCour, who will also be in attendance Tuesday, according to Gonzalez.

After promising high school careers, the trio became high draft choices and have risen to superstardom as three of the best young arms in the majors. Each has finished among the top six vote-getters for the Cy Young Award in their respective leagues.
