The Utah Jazz signed veteran center Greg Monroe to a 10-day contract, the team announced Monday.
Monroe has spent most of the 2021-22 campaign with the G League's Capital City Go-Go. He averaged 13.1 points, 8.3 boards, 4.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.3 blocks over 25 appearances.
The 31-year-old also had brief spells in the NBA this season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards, and Milwaukee Bucks. He posted 5.5 points, 5.2 boards, and 1.4 assists in 15.1 minutes per contest across 10 games.
Monroe will likely back up Rudy Gobert with Hassan Whiteside nursing a foot injury.
