The Minnesota Vikings stormed back from a 33-point deficit to complete the biggest comeback in NFL history and stun the Indianapolis Colts 39-36 in overtime.

The Vikings' largest deficit of the day came at halftime when they trailed 33-0. After falling behind 36-7, Minnesota capped off an unanswered 32-point run that ended with a Greg Joseph field goal to win in the extra session.

With the win, the Vikings clinched their first NFC North title since the 2017 campaign.

A strong second half from Kirk Cousins powered the franchise to its triumph over the Colts. After throwing a pick-6 in the second quarter, Cousins responded with four second-half touchdown passes. He finished the day with 460 passing yards and a 99.3 passer rating.

Dalvin Cook forced overtime after ripping off a heroic 64-yard catch-and-run score on a dump-off pass from Cousins with just over two minutes remaining in regulation.

Meanwhile, star wideout Justin Jefferson was also on the receiving end of a Cousins touchdown throw and accumulated 123 receiving yards. K.J. Osborn led the team with 157 receiving yards.

The Colts appeared to be in position to clinch a win in regulation before a quarterback sneak attempt by Matt Ryan late in the fourth quarter was ruled short. Ryan threw for 182 yards in the loss with one touchdown and zero interceptions.

Indianapolis was without running back Jonathan Taylor for the majority of the game due to an ankle injury.

The result moves the Vikings to 10-0 in one-score games this season.
