LSU linebacker Harold Perkins will miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL, head coach Brian Kelly confirmed Monday, according to Brett Martel of The Associated Press.

Perkins' injury is a massive blow to LSU, which improved to 3-1 this season after beating UCLA. The former five-star recruit recorded 17 tackles (two for loss) in 2024 while recovering one fumble.

A dynamic playmaker who can execute different roles at the linebacker position, Perkins has been regarded as a potential first-round pick by NFL scouts in 2025.

He recorded 28 tackles for loss, 13 sacks, and seven forced fumbles in 31 appearances across three years at LSU. Perkins claimed a first-team All-SEC berth in 2022 and a second-team All-SEC nod last year.
