Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Joc Pederson declined his $14-million mutual option for 2025, a source told Jesse Rogers of ESPN.
Pederson will now head into free agency after recording 23 homers with 64 RBIs and a .908 OPS across 132 games in 2024.
The 32-year-old's 3.0 fWAR was the highest single-season total he accrued since 2016.
The 2022 All-Star has gone deep 209 times with 549 RBIs and a .811 OPS over 11 years with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, Atlanta Braves, San Francisco Giants, and Diamondbacks. He's won two World Series rings (2020 Dodgers, 2021 Braves).
