The NHL fined San Jose Sharks head coach Ryan Warsofsky $25,000 for inappropriate conduct during the team's 4-3 loss to the Utah Hockey Club on Saturday.

"I'm not going to get into what happened," Warsofsky said Tuesday, per San Jose Hockey Now's Sheng Peng. "We're moving on. Emotions, emotional sport, and we're going to move on. Get ready for tonight."

However, Warsofsky confirmed the fine was related to the officiating.

"I'm passionate, I wear my emotions on my sleeve. Sometimes, it gets the best of me, but at the end of the day, I gotta have our players back. And that's not gonna change," Warsofsky said. "Do I wish I used different words or whatnot? But at the end of the day, we're all in this together as a group, myself, the coaches, the trainers, the equipment staff, the players, and I'm gonna have our players' back."

Warsofsky added that he was also fined a couple of times when he coached in the AHL.

The Sharks enter Tuesday's slate with an 11-17-5 record and sit 27th in the NHL, even though many picked them to finish last.
