The Toronto Raptors have waived veteran forward P.J. Tucker, the team announced Friday.

Tucker was re-acquired by the Toronto Raptors from the Miami Heat along with a second-round pick and cash at the trade deadline.

The 39-year-old hasn't played since the 2023-24 campaign when he split time between the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers.

Tucker and the Clippers announced before the start of the season that they had mutually agreed to hold the forward out while L.A. worked to find him a new team.

Los Angeles dealt Tucker to the Utah Jazz on Feb. 1 as part of a multi-player deal. He was then moved to the Heat in a separate deal five days later.

Tucker is now eligible to sign with any team except the Jazz, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.
