Oklahoma freshman defensive tackle David Stone is entering the transfer portal, On3's Pete Nakos reports.

Stone was the top-ranked defensive tackle and sixth overall recruit in the class of 2024, per the ESPN 300. He signed with the Sooners over Florida, Miami, Michigan State, and others coming out of high school.

The 6-foot-3, 294-pounder appeared in 13 games in 2024. He tallied six total tackles, two tackles for loss, and a sack.

Stone isn't able to transfer to another SEC school, per conference rules.
