Report: Madden Iamaleava flips back to UCLA to follow brother Nico
Madden Iamaleava is flipping back to UCLA.
The younger brother of new Bruins quarterback Nico Iamaleava told members of Arkansas' staff he plans to join UCLA, according to ESPN's Chris Low.
The decision comes just months after Madden decided to switch his commitment from UCLA to Arkansas in December. Nico transferred to the Bruins last week following a stunning exit from Tennessee. They're both from California.
Madden enrolled at Arkansas in January and spent only a spring in Fayetteville. The incoming freshman was a four-star recruit and top-12 pocket-passer out of high school.
Madden's arrival at UCLA comes on the same day Joey Aguilar reportedly decided to leave the Bruins to join the Volunteers as Nico's replacement.
UCLA went 5-7 and averaged only 18.4 points per game during DeShaun Foster's first year as head coach in 2024.
