The Kansas City Chiefs will play the Los Angeles Chargers during the first week of the 2025 NFL season in Brazil, the league announced.
The matchup is scheduled to take place at Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo on Friday, Sept. 5.
Kansas City was rumored to be the most likely opponent for Los Angeles in the league's second trip to South America. YouTube will stream the international game for free.
The NFL returns to Brazil after its first South America regular-season matchup in 2024, when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers.
The Chiefs have dominated their rivalry against the Chargers in recent years, winning the past seven meetings. Los Angeles is 2-10 in this series since 2019, with its most recent victory coming in 2021.
