Florida Panthers forward Sam Reinhart exited Thursday's Game 2 and didn't return after sustaining a lower-body injury.

Reinhart was hit by Carolina Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho in the first period.

Panthers head coach Paul Maurice had no update on Reinhart's status after the game, according to team reporter Jameson Olive.

Reinhart had four goals and 11 points in 13 playoff games entering Thursday's action. He played in all 24 contests en route to the Panthers' Stanley Cup triumph last year.

The 29-year-old tallied 39 goals and 81 points to lead Florida in scoring during the regular season. Reinhart has only missed two games in the past three seasons.
