Rasmus Kupari is headed overseas.
The Winnipeg Jets forward signed a two-year contract with Swiss club HC Lugano, the team announced Tuesday.
Kupari, 25, was set to be a pending restricted free agent this offseason.
The Jets acquired Kupari from the Kings in 2023 along with Alex Iafallo and Gabe Vilardi in the trade that sent Pierre-Luc Dubois to Los Angeles.
Kupari, a 2020 first-round pick by L.A., tallied five goals and three assists in 59 games while playing a fourth-line role with the Jets this past season. The Finn didn't appear in the playoffs.
