A middleweight fight between Nassourdine Imavov and Caio Borralho will serve as the main event at UFC Paris on Sept. 6, the promotion announced Monday.

Imavov is the top-ranked UFC middleweight contender, while Borralho places sixth in the division.

Imavov - who fights out of Paris - originally agreed to be the backup for the middleweight title bout between champion Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 319 in August.

The 30-year-old will now face Borralho with a chance to extend his four-fight win streak. Imavov most recently defeated Israel Adesanya by TKO in February. He previously beat Brendan Allen in September 2024 during a UFC Fight Night event that also took place in Paris.

Meanwhile, Borralho has yet to be defeated since making his UFC debut in 2022 and is unbeaten in his past 17 MMA fights. The 32-year-old Brazilian last fought in August 2024 when he earned a unanimous decision win over Jared Cannonier.
