Jordan Clarkson is expected to sign with the New York Knicks after clearing waivers, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Clarkson finalized a buyout with the Utah Jazz earlier Monday and was reportedly targeting a contender for his next destination, Charania reported.

The 6-foot-3 guard will join the Knicks for the veteran's minimum, a source told Stefan Bondy of The New York Post.

Clarkson was set to earn $14.3 million on the final year of his contract.

Utah acquired Clarkson from the Cleveland Cavaliers in December 2019. The former second-round pick has been among the NBA's top reserve players since joining the Jazz, averaging 17.5 points, 3.6 boards, and 3.3 assists across 342 appearances.

Clarkson won Sixth Man of the Year honors in 2020-21 and finished fourth in the race the following season.

The 33-year-old averaged 16.2 points and shot 36.2% from deep during the 2024-25 campaign.

The Jazz waived Johnny Juzang earlier Wednesday and traded Collin Sexton to the Charlotte Hornets over the weekend to potentially open up playing time for their young guards.
