The Tampa Bay Rays reinstated shortstop Ha-Seong Kim from the 60-day injured list Thursday, according to team reporter Ryan Bass.

Kim is expected to make his season debut during the upcoming weekend series against the Minnesota Twins.

The 29-year-old hasn't played in 2025 after undergoing shoulder surgery in October 2024.

The Rays signed Kim to a two-year, $29-million contract during the offseason after he slashed .233/.330/.370 with 11 home runs, 47 RBIs, and 22 stolen bases across 121 games with the San Diego Padres last year.

Kim's best season came in 2023 when he went deep 17 times with 38 steals and a career-best 4.2 fWAR en route to winning a Gold Glove and receiving downballot NL MVP votes.

Infielder Curtis Mead was optioned to Triple-A amid the roster shuffle.
