Sevilla snags Franco Vazquez from Palermo
Sevilla's busy summer continues, with the Andalusians announcing Friday the signing of Argentinian-born attacking midfielder Franco Vazquez from Palermo.
Vazquez, 27, joins the three-time reigning Europa League winners on a five-year deal, according to a statement on the club's website.
The twice-capped Italy international returns to Spain's top flight after a loan deal with Rayo Vallecano during the 2012-13 season where he made 18 appearances. He played a vital role in Palermo's fight for Serie A safety last season, pairing eight goals with seven assists.
He led Serie A in successful dribbles (126) last season.

Vazquez becomes Sevilla's fifth signing of the summer as the club corners the market on attacking midfielders. The transfer was finalised Friday after the player had spent a week training with the club.
Ganso was brought in from Sao Paulo this week, while Joaquin Correa, Pablo Sarabia and Hiroshi Kiyotake have all made the Sevilla switch during the summer transfer window ahead of the Jorge Sampaoli era.
