Report: Juventus leading PSG in Alexander Isak chase
With five-time reigning Scudetto champ Juventus reportedly the favourites to sign teenage AIK attacker Alexander Isak, Paris Saint-Germain has thrown its hat in the ring in pursuit of the Sweden Under-21 international.
Ten goals in 24 matches this season with the Swedish top-flight side have vaulted Isak among the continent's most desired teens, and both Juventus and PSG have taken notice, with ESPN FC's Jonathan Johnson reporting that the pair of perennial powers are the frontrunners for the services of the angular 17-year-old.
Other sources propose that scouts from Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund were among 90 representatives from top-tier clubs present at AIK's Solna Arena in October to watch Isak line up against IFK Goteborg.
Reports suggest that discussions over Isak have kicked off around the €10-million price tag, though AIK is understood to want more. According to Johnson, sources in Italy state that Juve has tabled an offer of €16 million for the player who joined his local AIK at 6 years of age.
