Inter's Conte tells players to have sex with 'least effort possible'

Inter manager Antonio Conte has told his players there's nothing wrong with having sex during the season.

It just shouldn't last that long, or require much effort.

"I was a player as well," Conte said in an interview with Valentin Pauluzzi of French outlet L'Equipe. "During the season, sex should not last long."

Conte, who joined Inter in the summer, is heralded as one of football's most detailed and demanding managers. Apparently, that carries over to off-pitch activities as well.

"It should be done with the least effort possible, and underneath their partners," Conte continued. "Preferably with their wife, as it requires less of an extraordinary performance."

By all accounts, Conte is still happily married. For now.

Conte isn't the first Italian tactician to give his players tips on knocking boots. Then-England manager Fabio Capello famously told his pupils to avoid sex during the 2010 World Cup to save energy. The Three Lions subsequently failed to progress beyond the group stage.
