Torino hands defenders Kamil Glik, Cristian Molinaro new contracts

Mid-table Torino has taken a major step towards shoring up its back line by signing defenders Kamil Glik and Cristian Molinaro to contract extensions.

Club captain and 33-time capped Polish international Glik, 27, has signed an extension with the II Toro until June 2020, according to ESPN FC.

Full-back Molinaro, 32, who joined Torino in 2014 from VfB Stuttgart, has extended his stay at the Stadio Olimpico until June 2017.

The club announced both extensions on Sunday following a 1-0 home defeat to Udinese.
