Arsenal star Bukayo Saka will miss up to four weeks after injuring his hamstring in Saturday's 5-0 victory over Leeds United, sources told BBC's Sami Mokbel.

The injury will rule out Saka for Sunday's trip to Anfield to face Liverpool and England's upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia.

Saka's timeline should come as a source of relief for Arsenal supporters after the 23-year-old missed three months of the 2024-25 campaign due to a hamstring issue.

Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard was also forced off against Leeds after suffering a shoulder worry in the first half. He was replaced by teenage academy product Ethan Nwaneri in the 38th minute. Odegaard appears to have also avoided major injury but is doubtful for the highly anticipated clash at Anfield.

Mikel Arteta and Co. have bolstered Arsenal's squad depth in the summer with a series of moves that helps cover for key absences. Noni Madueke joined the Gunners on a reported £52-million transfer from London rival Chelsea and started on the left side of the attack versus Leeds. Striker Viktor Gyokeres also joined the North London side from Portuguese giants Sporting in a move reportedly valued at €73.5 million. Gyokeres opened his Arsenal account with a brace Saturday.

Arsenal's attack also includes Nwaneri, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, and newcomer Eberechi Eze.
