Galatasaray signs defender Ryan Donk from Kasimpasa
Istanbul giants Galatasaray has secured the services of Dutch defender/midfielder Ryan Donk from fellow Turkish side Kasimpasa.
Donk, 29, joins Galatasaray on a two-and-a-half year deal for €3.75 million, with Kasimpasa receiving €15,000 for every appearance by the former AZ Alkmaar player beyond his 11th match in each of the three seasons, according to a statement on the club's website.

The former Dutch Under-21 international is described as a versatile defender who's able to ply his trade both as a centre-back, and a defensive midfielder.
Galatasaray's next Super Lig match is a Jan. 17 visit from Sivasspor. The club sits third in the table, 10 points shy of city rivals Fenerbahce, and 11 points behind the other member of Istanbul's "big three," Besiktas.
