Canada's men's team will face two World Cup-winning teams this June.
Canada will take on 2018 World Cup champion France in a friendly ahead of its first Copa America appearance, Canada Soccer announced Tuesday.
The match will take place in Bordeaux on June 9, over a week before Canada - ranked 49th in the world by FIFA - faces the defending World Cup winner, Argentina, in the opening game of 2024 Copa America on June 20.

Canada Soccer's COO, Mathieu Chamberland, said: "Playing against the best teams globally, like Les Bleus, will continue our growth as a soccer nation. We want to enhance our cultural, historical and sporting relationship with France and this is another step forward."
The friendly also serves as a tuneup game for Les Bleus, as France will be preparing for its opening Euro 2024 match against Austria on June 17.
It will be Canada's second meeting with France. Les Bleus beat Canada 1-0 at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico.
The Canadians also have a friendly against the Netherlands on June 6 in Rotterdam.
