Canada wins Group B after dismantling Czech Republic

Canada defeated the Czech Republic 7-2 on New Year's Eve to claim the top spot in Group B at the 2020 World Junior Championship.
The Canadians will square off against Slovakia in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Canada jumped out to an early 4-0 lead - scoring all four goals on the power play. The Czechs cut the lead in half, but Canada piled on three more tallies, including one more with the man advantage, to cruise to victory.
Barrett Hayton and Dylan Cozens led the offensive charge with four points apiece.
